Melanie Boyle
Melanie is an experienced Solicitor with a keen interest in both the law and in people. She has a passion for bringing about the best outcomes for her clients and enjoys finding solutions to their varied legal issues.
Melanie is a Partner in the the firm and has over 15 years’ experience as a Solicitor, accumulating a broad range of knowledge. She specialises in disputes of all kinds, advisory work, and Wills and Probate. She is the great-granddaughter of the firm’s founder and continues the family tradition of legal excellence as the firm moves towards its 100th year of service to its clients.
Melanie qualified as a Solicitor in 2007 at Matheson, one of Ireland’s prestigious “Big Five” firms, and practised in its Commercial Litigation department until she moved to Washington DC to participate in the ABA’s International Lawyer Exchange Program. She joined the family firm, Charles B. W. Boyle & Son, in 2011 and became the first female Partner of Charles. B. W. Boyle & Son in 2020.
Melanie holds a BCL (International) from University College Dublin and University of Minnesota Law School, and Diplomas in Employment Law and in Construction Law from the Law Society of Ireland.
Outside work, Melanie enjoys hiking with her dog, watching rugby, and practising yoga. She is also a proud volunteer with the Big Brother Big Sister youth mentorship programme in the north inner city.
